Hi, nice to meet you!

I’m Dr Lauren Rockliffe, a Health Psychologist and Pregnancy Health Coach. I’m registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and am a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). My expertise lies in understanding health behaviour in and around pregnancy, and in managing the psychological and emotional aspects of lifestyle change during this time.

 

I provide one-to-one health coaching where I support women to make healthy lifestyle changes at any stage throughout their pregnancy journey. Whether you’re undergoing fertility treatment or trying to get pregnant naturally, are currently pregnant, or have recently had a baby, lifestyle changes play an important role. It might be that you’re looking to make changes to your diet, to incorporate more exercise in your routine, manage stress levels, or improve your sleep. You might also be wanting to cut down on how much alcohol you're drinking or to quit smoking. Whatever your goals, I can support you to make the changes that matter to you.

 

I have worked in women’s health research for over eight years and have a PhD in pregnancy health behaviour change. You can find out more about my research here. I have also practised in a variety of settings including within drug and alcohol, and weight management services. I take an integrative approach to the work that I do, drawing upon various evidence-based therapeutic approaches and coaching techniques, to help women improve their sense of health and wellbeing.

The time in and around pregnancy can be hugely challenging, both physically and psychologically. I’m passionate about working alongside women to understand these challenges and to support them to make positive changes in their life.

 

I am committed to providing women with a safe, non-judgemental space where they can get clear on their goals and values, working together to identify and address barriers to making positive changes. I help women to understand and challenge limiting beliefs, find their motivation, and make sustainable changes to improve their physical and mental health.

 

I am based in South London but am able to work with clients from anywhere in the world (time zones permitting), as all sessions are conducted online.
